    Description

21+ LBS of red clay dirt! From zip code 36053 Bullock County Alabama!
Town Population 500. This clay comes from our backyard which is a beautiful hardwood forest.May contain some streaks of orange clay also but it's mostly all red.
I do not sift this clay.
That said, my clay pit is deep enough where I'm digging is just clay, although occasionally it may have a piece of root or a twig/leaf in it. I pick out what I can see and do my best to ensure it's just the clay dirt.
Why do people buy red clay dirt?
Some refine it for crafts and pottery.
Others use it as a garden amendment.
Many plants like it and it holds water better than sand.
Popular to use in water gardens to anchor plants and feed them.
Fun to use for Beauty. making face masks with it. They feel oh so good.
Some buy it for art projects.
One of my customers was building a table with dirt from all the southern sates to showcase the beauty of the land.
Kids love to play with it, it's good fun.
Occasionally it's used in research and other science applications.
One of my customers used it for classroom demonstration.
Some even buy it for funerals, so they can bury their loved one under some Alabama soil.
Whatever your reason is, we got the dirt!
By purchasing for us your supporting our homesteading efforts. Your supporting us as we build a food forest and permaculture gardens so that we can make the world a little bit better for the next generation.
