Get the Catalpa Worm cycle started on your Catalpa Tree/Trees!!You are buying 24 live catalpa pupa.This is the best way to get the (catalpa worm cycle) re-established.  Pupa hatch out about 3 weeks after being shipped (+ or - a week). You will receive close to half of each sex. Do not order if your tree/trees are not big enough to support approximately 700 +/- eggs being laid from one female. When your catalpa pupas arrive, simply inspect them and make sure nothing went wrong, and that they're still good and alive. You can hold them gently and mess with the end of their tail with your fingernail and make them wiggle their tail most of the time, however sometimes they don't all always cooperate. If you sense a problem of some kind, please let me know immediately, and we will work it out, what ever it takes. If everything is all good like I would think, simply dig a small hole 3" to 6" inches deep, (near and on the shady side of the tree) drop the pupas in and cover them with some kind of loose dirt, like sand, potting soil, etc., just like it happens naturally in the real world. They should hatch out and crawl up out of the ground, and crawl up the nearest tree etc. and do their thing. They will barely climb up something near and develop their wings. That takes about 15 minutes. They will remain there until nightfall, and fly away and do their thing.
