    Description

Great little piece with a small fossil solenopora sponge and partial brachiopod shell from Kentucky. This specimen exhibits the "brain" patterning found in these type of fossil sponges.
    Approximate
    measurements are 3" x 2" x 1".
Excellent addition to a fossil, rock, mineral collection, for research or as an educational aid.
    These
    fossils
date to the Ordovician Period making them over 450 million years old.
I'm out there collecting and cutting these great rocks myself and blogging about it at zookeeperfossils. eBay sales help support my rockhounding habit.
Combined shipping is always available and I will refund excess postage through PayPal when needed.
    Thank you!
